The Charterhouse is centrally located in the City of London, and is easy to reach by public transport. Google maps link here.
By tube or train
The nearest stations are Farringdon and Barbican, both served by the Circle, Hammersmith & City, and Metropolitan lines. Farringdon is also on the Elizabeth line and has Thameslink services.
We recommend arriving via Farringdon - it's just a 3-minute walk. Follow signs for 'Charterhouse' or 'Barbican' as you leave the platform and exit the station.
By bus
Buses 4, 56, and 153 stop on Aldersgate Street outside Barbican station.
By car
We'd suggest leaving the car at home for this one. The Charterhouse sits within the congestion charge zone (currently £18/day), street parking is essentially non-existent, and nearby car parks are pricey. London's public transport will serve you much better.
We'll be arranging transport between The Charterhouse and Five Points Brewery, so you won't need to worry about that leg of the journey. If you have any specific requirements - buggy space, accessibility needs, or anything else - please do let us know and we'll make sure everything is sorted.
